ID field is mandatory, an adequate population of this field (matching account registration data) is essential to avoid unnecessary delays in processing or rejected Payouts.
Special Cases - Bancolombia
Bancolombia has deployed a special structure (prefix digits) for certain beneficiaries with ID: 2 (CE), 5 (PASS). The usage of these structures by the bank during the account registration process varies from branch to branch and is largely arbitrary, which makes it difficult to properly identify the correct values.
Type of ID | Expected Length | Prefix | Structure |
---|---|---|---|
2 | 6 | 30, 300 | 30123456, 300123456 |
5 | Variable | 5, 50, 500, 30, 300 | 512345678, 501234567890123, 500123456789, 30123456789, 300123456789 |
Type of ID + ID fields should be populated with the exact same values as the bank has on file for the beneficiary, including any prefixes or special structures. This logic is applied by the bank at account registration on a case-by-case basis and cannot be automated.
